Rinse handle in hot water. Put on a very small amount of bleach on the handle and rub in with a sponge.

Leave for 5 mins, then rinse off....comes up like new. :cool:

Dry and then apply a coat of u40 cork seal.

The older SA made ones had a better coating.

Tend to have short, heavy heads and thin running line.

Good for underhand casting.

Agree with Ben on the SLX. Very good line for small rivers and handles a variety of flies.

Guideline Bullet is also a very good line.

Found the scandi short a bit splashy sometimes, but good for quick depth changes.

I have simms rivertek Boa, with the dial lacing system. The dial system that they and korkers have is fantastic, far better than laces that seem to always come loose. The rubber/studs sole is crap on riverbeds, I need felt and studs for my wading. Not used anything as good as felt/studs for rocky b...
