They are usually called strymphs man but it looks kind of odd so your own name works to.... :p :???: :D :D

Nice one Marc. I'm sure it's deadly, especially when the water is a little bit cloudy.
Have you got good experiences with the color yellow?

I was playing around with Senyo's Laser Dubbing in the last days.

didn't know about 'strymphs', PA :oh: but the 'NY' part of the name is also because of Johan NYgren from Sweden who showed me a fly tied for Iceland that got me thinking of the cross-over tying style.

thanks Holger ! they're new and haven't been fished yet. waters are all frozen over... but it swims well in the bathtub  :D

those streamers of yours must be even more gorgeous when wet !

cheers,
marc

The most famous one is called "The Ombudsman" and is a swedish creation from the 50"s. I have done a lot of versions of strymphs since they tend to fish exceptionally well here in Sweden Marc. Yours will to....;)

Great small fushes Holger but do they really float?
;) :D :D :D

These are fantastic flies guys - a great start to the new year's tying.

I think the patterns are great and the colours fantastic as well

Hi. Holger and Biology - very nice flies :)

I've photographed my Bibio imitation here. Had lots of fun with it this summer as it was a pretty good Bibio year in 2011. Better than for years :)
