Received a remarkable email recently from a British Armed Forces Veteran who had started fly fishing 12 months ago after being accepted by the United Kingdom based Fishing for Heroes Program. He is moving to Australia with his family in mid April and had heard that we had started Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Australia (PHWFFA) which is the Aussie equivalent of the UK and US programs for injured Armed Services Members and Veterans. He loves fly fishing and is keen to be "part of a fishing family that understands how his injury/illness works and continue his rehabilitation through fishing".
Puts things into perspective using very descriptive, heart-felt language.
I am embroiled in establishment paperwork and process at the moment but am not far away from having PHWFFA up and running and will be able to help this UK Veteran and others, when he arrives in the Great Southern Land.

In anticipation, thanks for taking the interest click on and read.
